In 8-Week Book Peak, we will hold you accountable to do your part to get your book from a mere idea to a refined manuscript. You can certainly do it yourself, but if you’re reading this, you probably want support, insights, accountability, and a simplified process for seeing your book through to its end; that’s precisely what 8-Week Book Peak is for. You will be working with three experienced writers, all of whom are multi-book, bestselling authors, and all of whom have professional experience helping others (writers and non-writers alike) explore, refine, and finalize their book ideas. In essence, this process is designed to help anyone write, develop, and honor the art of storytelling. You will receive accountability, coaching, resources, and encouragement. You will gain the necessary tools, techniques, and expertise needed to complete your book by the summer of 2016.
We start on February 1, 2016.
Only if you’re committed to seeing this through. Finishing a book in 8 weeks is challenging, so we’re looking for people who have already committed to making it happen in spite of their long to-do lists. Too, we prepare you for the process by doing some cleanup, organizing, and reflecting in your daily life, examining internal and external obstructions, and making room for you to finally write that book.
A preliminary edit is included, which ensures that your manuscript is ready to be professionally edited. However, a line-by-line edit is not included; that’s actually part of the publishing process, which we’ll prepare you for.
No, you sure don’t. You should have a clear idea of what you want to share in the form of a book, and you should be highly motivated to complete that book by Summer of 2016.
We’re confident you’ll get exactly what you need through 8-Week Peak, but in case you don’t, we gladly offer full, no-questions-asked refunds within five (5) business days of your first session with us.
No. We want to work with anyone who is highly motivated to write an incredible book by Summer of 2016.
During your weeks with Akilah (the last phase of this process), she’ll help you decide whether you want to completely self-publish or go through a third party publisher. The latter offers in-house editing most times, so your next step depends on the route you choose to take. Should you choose to completely self-publish, your next step is to have your manuscript edited by a professional, credible editor (and we can provide you with options).
Part of the program includes being provided with resources to help you with subsequent steps, so you don’t get stuck and stop but move forth in the publishing process. We are here to equip you before, during, and after your masterpiece is completed.
